Yes & No. Out of the box, the Olympus DR-1200 DirectRec is not compatible with the Olympus DSS Player Pro Release 5 software. In order to use the DR1200 with DSS Player Pro R5, you will need to change the firmware on your device so that it acts like its predecessor, the DR-1000.
