A few users have informed me that they’ve setup a password to encrypt their audio files within the Olympus Dictation Management (ODMS) R6 software, which encrypted their audio files as designed. However; they were unable to decrypt the files using the same password.
This is a known issue with Olympus and they are working on a resolution. In the meantime, if this has happened to you, follow the instructions below.
EMAIL ME the following items:
- Encrypted audio files
- Encryption Password
- Olympus digital voice recorder Firmware Version
I will forward to the Olympus Research & Development department immediately for decryption.
NOTE: I understand the audio files may contain sensitive information, I will be happy to sign an NDA if needed.
