How should I disconnect the Olympus LS-100 from a computer?

Before disconnecting the USB cable:

• Windows – Use the Safely Remove Hardware function in the Taskbar in the lower right corner of the computer’s Desktop screen.
• Mac – Either drag the icon for the recorder on the Desktop screen to the Trash icon and release it, or use the EJECT button.

Failure to disconnect the recorder using the appropriate method may result in corrupted files, which may not be accessible.
