How to configure an author ID within Philips SE Pro Transcribe/Dictate v7

This ‘How to’ guide will walk you through the process of configure an author ID within the Philips SpeechExec Version 7. Illustrated screen shots have been included for your convenience.
Step 1: Go to [Settings] > [General Settings]. Or just press Control +6.
Step2: Once you have opened the General Settings panel, look at the topics on the left hand and choose [Rules]> [Author profiles]. To your right, towards the bottom of the panel you will see a button that says Add. Click this button to add an author.
Step 3: Type in the desired author name and click OK. Note: You do have options as to whether you want to user the Windows user name. You can also choose to put in the Encryption password, configure file properties or set a prefix for your files – all based on the author ID.
Step 4: After hitting OK in the New Author panel (above), be sure to set the author as default by clicking the ‘set as default at the bottom of the panel. Now click Ok and you are done.
