This ‘How to’ guide will walk you through the process of how to manually start adaptation of successfully recognition files within the Philips SpeechExec Version 7. Adaptation methods enhance speech recognition accuracy by updating the Dragon NaturallySpeaking user profile. For the purpose of this guide we will assume that you do have a valid version of Dragon installed. Illustrated screen shots have been included for your convenience.
Note: Adaptation cannot take place unless the recognition queue has been run successfully
Step 1: Populate the speech recognition queue with successfully recognized files (see guide 361).
Step 2: Go to the recognition and adaptation queue and click [Start Adaptation]
Step3: Choose which type of adaptation to start. You have 3 choices: Adapt Vocabulary; Adapt acoustic or cancel and go back to worklist.
