There are two methods for recovering the license key when Philips® SpeechExec Pro Dictate v7.1 does not launch. One is via the Windows® Control Panel, and the other is via the computer’s registry. You can find your license by following either set of steps below:

Control Panel Method:
1.Open the Control Panel
2. Navigate to Add Remove Programs
3. Select SpeechExec Pro Dictate in the programs list
4. Click on the [Change] button
5. In the InstallShield Wizard window, click Next > Modify > Next
You will see the license key displayed in the InstallShield Wizard window.

Registry Key Method:
*ONLY YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR SHOULD PERFORM REGISTRY-RELATED ACTIONS. ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY BEFOREHAND, SO THAT YOU HAVE A COPY TO REVERT TO IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL CHANGES.*
In your registry editor/viewer, navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > PHILIPSSpeech > SpeechExecProductInformation > PD.
You will find the license under the PD registry key value, in the Data column.
